Learn About The Upcoming Eagle Dance

*RSVP to Dianne for the Zoom link at: sustainwellnesscoaching@gmail.com

An Eagle Dance is a sacred, meditative experience of personal and collective prayers. The participant dances or walks their prayers to the center tree.  The Tree of Life acts as an antenna to Spirit as we pray for guidance from the Universe in the coming year. Dancing keeps us in our bodies and out of our head so that we can receive messages from Spirit with care and with clarity. The Dance allows prayers for manifesting a specific intent for self, the collective, and others. We also pray to bring our beauty and purpose into the world around us. The people of Grandmother Earth need our prayers.  We have chosen to be alive at this special time and humanity is calling us to participate as we bridge the old world into the new one currently emerging.

Spirit Canoe Lodge’s Eagle Dance preparations can often feel mysterious and overwhelming. In this Zoom meeting Kelly Clampitt will answer questions to help you along in your process. It is recommended that one start preparations at least 2-4 weeks in advance of the ceremony. In this meeting you will learn more about the Dance and how to prepare.

HEALING TOOLS CRAFT DAY

Structured, Fun Support to Get You Started

When I began studying the healing arts about 20 years ago, I was very intimidated when it came time to create my tools, i.e., smudge fans, talking sticks, wands etc. Materials I purchased to create items literally sat in my drawer for years. I figured I’d have to purchase these things as “I didn’t have the crafting gene and I didn’t have the time!”. Sound familiar?

These excuses dissolved when I started to attend my friend Kelly’s Craft Days. Participants were mostly women who showed up with Piggly Wiggly bags, Saran Wrapped treasures, bags of parakeet feathers, paint, crystals, yarn, and all sorts of oddities to piece together. We spent hours leisurely sharing stories, laughing, and sometimes crying as we showed one another the best glue to use, how to wrap, cut and tie objects….the list goes on. It fed my soul’s hunger to connect, and it was great fun. The special bonus was that I learned valuable crafting skills and created many beautiful, powerful healing tools.

So, get your calendar out and schedule this time to connect with sisters and make those items you have been dreaming about. Bring whatever you want to create!

SISTERS UNDER THE SHAWL - CIRCLE #3

Our Flow:

  • Create Goddess Altar

  • Group Sharing

  • Theme: We will work with Hathor, the Egyptian Goddess of the sky, of women, fertility and love. Facilitator Dianne Vetter, is an apprentice to the Sweet Medicine Sundance path, a contemporary Shamanic Tradition. She will share her personal experience working with the "7 Arrows" teachings. They contain powerful knowledge to help us drop self-judgment, attachments, comparisons, expectations, self-importance and victim states. In these moments we lose our energy and often make ourselves small. We give away our power, create separation, and become rigid in our beliefs and closed to others views. We can become entrenched in our patterns of low-self-esteem and assume a negative approach to life and others.

  • Activity: Engage in an earth-based ceremony to help us reflect and clarify how we can use our divine energy to expand and exercise our free will to gain self-awareness, self-appreciation, self-acceptance, self-love, self-actualization, and impeccability of character. Within our circle of sisters, we will create power objects to take home to support our individual intentions.

  • Closing Circle

Location: Raleigh, NC 27613 - specific location will be shared upon registration

*Registration Required by January 7, 12pm.

Cost: $45 per session

Payment:

Send payment via Venmo or PayPal and Indicate Class Date:
